The premise of Europa Universalis 4 is simple: build a nation. You’re in control of your nation’s destiny, letting you build alliances, dominate trade routes, change governments, and conquer the world.

Like other grand strategy games from Paradox Interactive, EU4 isn’t the easiest to master. With that in mind, we’ve compiled a complete list of all known EU4 console commands for you to use.

How to Open the EU4 Console

To use these EU4 cheats, you’ll need to open the console during gameplay. Press the grave accent (`) or tilde (~) key to do this—this will bring up the EU4 console for you to use.

To activate a EU4 console command, type one of the commands listed below into the console, then press the enter key to activate it.

A full list of  226 Europa Universalis 4 cheats is shown below. We’ve provided descriptions for each command to help you understand their purpose and impact on your gameplay. If the command requires a particular DLC, this will be listed under the description column.
